🛠️ Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer at DataCyclic, you’ll be on the frontlines helping enterprise customers troubleshoot, optimize, and succeed with our archiving platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for enterprise customers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to databases, AWS cloud, and on-premise deployments.
  • Assist customers with integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and best practice guides.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS Cloud (S3, EC2, IAM, RDS).
  • Programming knowledge in Python and Java.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data archiving tools or ETL frameworks.
  • Knowledge of security, compliance, and enterprise IT standards.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
